Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 2 cupswater
  2. 1 cubeBeef Bouillon
  3. 1 1/2lbs lean trimmed boneless chuck steak
  4. 1 tspAll Purpose seasoning
  5. 1 tspGarlic salt
  6. 1/3 cupall-purpose flour, white
  7. 1 tbspolive oil, extra virgin
  8. 4pickling onions, diced
  9. 4 clovesgarlic, minced
  10. 3medium carrots, diced
  11. 2bell peppers, any color, diced
  12. 5small gold potatoes, evenly cut to desired bitesize
  13. 1 canHunts Fire roasted diced tomatoes with garlic
  14. 1 tbspHunts Tomato Paste
  15. 1 sprigrosemary, chopped

Steps

  1. 1

    heat water, dissolve beef bouillon and set aside
    .

  2. 2

    Preheat oven to 300 F

  3. 3

    Mix beef with all purpose seasoning and garlic salt. Add flour and mix until evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Heat oil in oven safe pan. Fry beef until brown. Set aside.
    .

  5. 5

    Add onions and garlic to pan, cook and stir until onions are translucent.

  6. 6

    Add remaining ingredients, broth and return beef to pot. Bring to a boil.

  7. 7

    Bake for 2 hours, or until potatoes are tender.

All of the descriptions on my recipes include the new "Smartpoints" value on Weight Watchers for each serving. Some are duplicates from others that I found online, with modifications to reduce the number of points or remove/substitute ingredients my husband and/or I don't like.I'm still new to the kitchen and cooking for two (normally I make recipes for 4 and pack the leftovers for lunch the next day) and am looking to learn more. If you have any suggestions for any of my recipes regarding ingredients or cooking methods please send me a message!!
