Steps

Roast groundnuts along with all the remaining, cool it and grind it by adding tamarind and water as required.

Wash and soak Urad dal for 4-5hrs or overnight

Grind the soaked Urad dal with ginger,freshly ground cumin,curry leaves,two chillies and salt. Add water as required but make sure batter is tight and well grinded.

Add onion slices, chillies and curry leaves to the batter, add 1 tsp curd to the batter and mix well.

Heat oil in a kadaai, make vadas.

Put vadas carefully in oil and fry them

Take out and serve with chutney.
