Ingredients

  • 15 piecesbig prawns
  • 1egg
  • 1 tbspvinegar
  • to tastesalt
  • as neededcolour
  • 1 tbsp tandoori masala
  • 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  • 2 tbspcurd
  • 1lemon juice
  • 1 tbspred chilli
  • 1 tbsptandoori masala
  • 1 tbspred chilli powder
  • 1/4 tspajwain /carom seeds
  • 1 tbsprice flour
  • 2 tbspmaida, 1 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 tbspred chilli powder
  • 1 tsptandoori masala
  • 4 piecesSurmai
  • 400 grmprawns
  • 500 grmrice
  • 1 cupcoriander leaves
  • 5-6 green chillies
  • 7-8cloves garlic
  • 1 tspjeera
  • 2-3 tbspbesan /gram flour
  • 1 capsicum,
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 potato
  • as neededSalt & colour 1/4 tsp ajwain & 1 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 pomfret cut into 3 pieces
  • 1lemon, 1 tbsp red chilli powder, 1tsp tandoori masala
  • 1/4 tsphaldi & salt as per taste, 1 tbsp rice flour
  • Prawns Yakhni: 400 gms prawns, 500 gms rice
  • Green Masala
  • 1 inchginger
  • 2onion

Steps

  1. 1

    Prawns fry
    In a bowl take egg, maida, cornflour, salt, tandoori masala, tandoori colour, red chilli powder, vinegar. Mix all well. Marinate prawns for an hour & fry.

    Surmai Fry
    Mix besan, curd, ajwain, red chilli powder, salt, tandoori masala, tandoori colour, lemon juice. Marinate for 5-6 hrs. Before frying add little rice atta & fry.

    Pomfret fry
    Mix lemon juice with salt, red chilli powder, haldi, tandoori masala. Rub this masala & leave for half an hour. Sprinkle rice flour & fry in little oil

  4. 4

    Grind coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger, garlic & jeera into paste.

  5. 5

    Heat oil add jeera, add onion slices & saute. Add prawns & cook for a minute.

  6. 6

    Add tomatoes & grinded green masala. Cook for few minutes.

  7. 7

    Add soaked rice & capsicum. Salt & garam masala. Add water bring to boil.

  8. 8

    Cook on high heat fr sometime. Cover with a tight lid & cook on slow heat fr 10 minutes.
