Ingredients

  1. 1 cupboiled quinoa
  2. 2 cupscurd
  3. to tasteWhite and black salt
  4. 1pinchHeeng
  5. 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  6. 1/2 tspRai seeds
  7. 1 sprigFresh curry leaves
  8. 1 tspghee
  9. 1/2 tspBlack pepper powder
  10. 1pinchturmeric
  11. 1/2 tspRaita masala
  12. 2 clovesgarlic - optional

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Beat the curd well

  2. 2

    Add boiled quinoa to the curd and mix it well

  3. 3

    Add crushed garlic to the curd - if using it

  4. 4

    Heat the ghee and add heeng, curry leaves, cumin and rye and add prepared tadka to the curd mixture

  5. 5

    Add the salt and black pepper powder to the curd mixture

  6. 6

    For smoking flavor, heat up a piece of coal. Place a bowl in the curd mixture, put the smoking coal in it, pour ghee over it and cover the raita for 15 minutes.

  7. 7

    Delicious protein rich raita is ready!!
