Ingredients

10 minutes
3-4 servings
  • For the stuffing
  • 1 cuproasted besan or semi crushed thick sev
  • 2 tspcoriander cumin powder
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala
  • 1/4 cuproasted groundnut powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2 tbspgrated jaggery
  • 2 tbspgrated fresh coconut
  • 1 tsplemon juice
  • Other ingredients
  • 2-3 tbspoil
  • 3big Tori cut to 1 inch pieces
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/2garam masala
  • 1 tspjeera
  • 1/2 tsphing
  • 1 tspsugar

Steps

    For the stuffing

    Mix all the ingredients in a mixer and grind to powder and keep aside.

  3. 3

    To this add 1 tbsp oil and mix well so that the stuffing should be binded well.

  4. 4

    Take the Tori pieces and make a slit in middle and fill with the stuffing and keep aside.

  5. 5

    Put oil in a microwave safe bowl and add jeera and Hing and microwave for 1 minute.

  6. 6

    Then add garam masala, chilli powder, and microwave for 1 minute.

  7. 7

    Then add the stuffed Tori pieces and put 1/2 cup water and microwave for 4 minutes

  8. 8

    Stir thrice in between.

  9. 9

    More water can be added for consistency.

  10. 10

    Consistency should be medium thick.

  11. 11

    When the oil separates, it means the subji is ready to be served.

  12. 12

    So serve hot with roti, paratha etc..
