Jaggery and banana cake

Grind the banana and jaggery to a smooth paste.

Mix in molten ghee to the banana mixture.

Add the wheat slowly in batches and mix. Use water accordingly.

Mix in salt to the cake batter. Add baking soda.

Take vinegar over the spoon and add the baking soda. Cut and fold the batter.

Grease the pan. Preheat the oven.

If you want to mix red food colour take out a small amount of batter to a bowl and mix the colour.

Pour the batter into the baking tin and tap the tin few times.

If using colored batter, top it now and spread it with the help of a toothpick for design.

Put the cashew on top and bake it for 25 mins at 200 degrees celsius.
