Ingredients

  1. 1 bowlleft over khichadi
  2. 1/2 bowlcarrot and paneer(paratha stuffing)
  3. 1ripe banana mashed
  4. 2 tablespoonoats flour
  5. 1/2 cuppearl millet flour
  6. 1/4 cupSorghum flour
  7. 2 tablespoonoil
  8. 1/2 teaspoonturmeric
  9. 1 teaspoonchilli powder
  10. 1 tablespoonchilli garlic paste
  11. 1/2 teaspoonginger paste
  12. 2 tablespooncoriander leaves
  13. 1 teaspoonsesame seeds
  14. to tasteSalt
  15. 1 teaspoonajwain seeds
  16. 1/2 teaspoonbaking powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients in a bowl

    Make sure its of thick consistency

    In a steamer add water and bring it to boil.

    Grease the steamer plate. Take a modak mould and oil it and make muthia in modak shape and steam for 15 minutes. Check with tooth pick. It should come out clean.

    You can eat straight away or can give tadka of cumin, sesame and mustard seeds.

Hi all, my name is Rekha. I am Indian by birth, born in Uganda, East Africa, I now live in Wilby, Northamptonshire/England.I retired at the age of 60 due to severe arthritis. I am married, a mother and grandmother.I learnt to cook from my parents at a very young age of seven. I started to cook simple dishes for the family and gradually learnt how to cook. My mum use to cook at our shop where we sold Indian sweets and savouries. I have learnt a lot from my mum. I started cooking fusion dishes and learning from others. My strong point is making sweet dishes and innovating new dishes. I can improvise and be creative in leftover dishes.I love being on Cookpad because I can share and learn new recipes. I have also made a lot of friends.
