If using unroasted dalia, use a little ghee and roast the dalia well in a pressure cooker

Once roasted, add water and pressure cook till one whistle.

In another pan, add little ghee and jeera. Cook for a minute. Then saute the onions.

Then add other veggies-peas, potato. Add salt, red chilli powder, haldi, dhaniya powder.

Add a little water and cover with lid so that they are soft. Add the tomato. Cook well.

Now add the cooked dalia. Mix well.

Serve hot with green chutney or bhel.
