Ingredients

4 servings
  • 10-15Moong dal pakode
  • 1 tablespoonOil
  • 1 teaspoonCumin seeds
  • 1 pinchAsfoateida
  • 1Onion finely chopped
  • 5-6Garlic finely chopped
  • 3Green chilli chopped
  • 1Tomato finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoonRed chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonCoriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoonTurmeric powder
  • Salt according to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat a wok. Once heated add cumin seeds and asfoateida in it.

  2. 2

    When cumin seeds starts crackling add Onion and garlic cloves in it fry it till colour changes.

  3. 3

    Once colour changed add tomato and green chilli and mix it well.

  4. 4

    When tomato become mushy add red chilli powder turmeric powder and coriander powder in it.

  5. 5

    Roast the masala well. When masala starts separate oil add pakode in it.

  6. 6

    Add water as per your requirement of gravy.

  7. 7

    Cook until pakode absorbs gravy and becomes little soft.

  8. 8

    Now turn off the flame and serve it hot.

  9. 9

    Your moong dal pakoda sabji is ready.
