Healthy Badam Doodh | Milk Badam

A really delicious drink flavored with almonds and saffron. It can be served hot as well as cold. Generally almonds in their raw form are heaty (garam), but when we soak them in water they become cool (thande). Soaked almonds are better to digest and increase their nutritive value. So today we have special healthy drink - Badam Milk
Note: If you want to prepare it quickly and you have not soaked the almonds, in that case yo can soak them in hot water for 30 mins.

Boil the milk

By the time milk is boiling peel off the blanched almonds & grind them in the mixie and make a fine paste. You can add little milk while grinding.

Take 10 to 12 leaves of saffron and add little hot milk so that the it's get the proper colour and flavor.

Cook the milk for 7 to 8 mins so that it consistency gets thick.

Now add the almonds paste into it & mix well. Clear the jar with the help of milk.

Now add all the saffron leaves & sugar. Cook until it gets a boil.

Now add finely chopped almonds.

Now swtich off the gas. Serve it hot as well as cold as per your taste.
