Gluten-Free, Oil-Free Fava Bean Tlacoyos

Steps

Soak the fava beans overnight.

Boil the fava beans with enough water, garlic, and onion until they are soft.

Mash the fava beans together with the garlic and onion, being careful not to over-mash.

Prepare the dough.
- 5
Mix the dough with the mashed fava beans.
- 6
Cook on a griddle (comal) over medium heat. Serve as desired.
