Steps

Take a deep pot boil moong daal

Add rice as the daal is par boiled

In a pan add jeera seeds bay leaf and red chilli

As it crackle add ginger paste and saute well till the raw smell disappears

Now add powder masalas saute well adding salt and turmeric

Add tomato green chillies and saute well
- 7
Add this into the boiling daal and rice
- 8
Mix well adding sugar and serve with any kind of fried vegetables and papad
