Daal Baati Churma

Steps

Make a stiff dough of wheat flour by adding semolina,ghee,milk & water. & let it rest for 30min.

Make round baatis with the dough & thumb pinch in the centre.

Cook the baatis in a gas tandoor for approx 20minutes. Flip them im between.

Once they cook properly dip baatis one by one into ghee. Baatis are ready.

To make churma take 3baatis & grind them in a grinder.

Heat a pan add ghee & grinded baati to it. Cook for 5minutes & add sugar,cardamom & dry fruits to it. Mix well & churma is ready.

To make daal; pressure cook soaked dal for 4 whistles on a high flame.

Prepare the tadka by heating ghee in a pan. Add jeera, garlic ginger & green chillies to it. & then add onion, sauté for 3 -4 minutes & then add tomatoes. & sauté for another 3-4 minutes.

Add the cooked dal into it & cook for 5minutes by stirring in between. Daal is ready. Serve daal baati & churma together.
