Ingredients

  1. 1 cupbasmati rice
  2. 1onion sliced
  3. 1 tablespoonsginger garlic paste
  4. 2cinnamon
  5. 4cardamom
  6. cloves4-6
  7. 10pepper crushed
  8. 1 tspcinnamon and clove powder
  9. 2tomato
  10. 1/2 cupbeans chopped
  11. 1/2 cupcarrots chopped
  12. 1/2 beetroot chopped
  13. 3bay leaves
  14. As per needkapok buds
  15. 1/4 cuppeas
  16. Somecoriander leaves
  17. Handfulmint leaves
  18. As requiredghee and oil
  19. 1 teaspoonmustard and jeera

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak basmathi rice for 30 mins.

  2. 2

    In a kadhai heat oil and ghee add all whole masala, add onions green chilli, ginger garlic paste, cinnamon and clove powder fry till onion becomes golden brown colour. add tomato, vegetables, peas and salt fry for 2-3 minutes.

    Add chilli powder and dhaniya powder fry for 2 minutes add 1 and half cup of water bring it to boil.

    Add rice mint leaves and coriander leaves

  5. 5

    Add ghee. don't close the lid. after rice cooked close and keep for 10 mins

  6. 6

    Serve with raita.
