Ingredients

  • 225 gcrushed digestive biscuits
  • 100 gmargarine
  • 50 gsugar
  • 35 gcocoa powder
  • 1heaped table spoon golden syrup
  • 300 gmilk chocolate

Steps

  1. 1

    Melt together margarine, cocoa powder, sugar and golden syrup

    Stir in crushed digestive biscuits

    Press into a greased tin. I use an 11” x 7” tin

    Melt 300g chocolate

    Pour over the top of the base and spread out

    Put into the fridge until firm, then remove and cut into squares (its best to leave it out for 30 minutes before trying to cut)

Oh yeah I remember this recipe looks amazing. Do you know anyone that would have a similar recipe from school in the 80s ( chocolate floorboard) .
