This version of fisherman soup just came to me based on the ingredients in my kitchen and omg 😀😁 it tastes better than any Fisher man soup I have ever had.
Fisherman soup is just a slightly thick but light brot with the choicest catch of the day like fish, water snails, prawns, perwinkles, osyer, etc infsct that is where it get its name Fisherman soup from.
It was easy, tasty and super delicious. And all the seafood in it was thoroughly washed with lime to take away that smell that makes some people dread Fisherman soup.

Steps

Wash all the seafood thoroughly. Afterward, squeezed the juices of two lime over everything...Allow to rest for 5mins. This takes care of the smell... Boil slightly with Salt, onions, pepper, ginger and one stock cube.

In another pot, pour in the palm nut extract or juice and allow to boil very well, Add in the already boiled seafood, Add some salt if needed, the pounded pepper and two different periwinkles and allow to cook for 5 mins.

Add in the pounded cocoyam to help thicken it slightly, crayfish, black pepper and crumble the stock cubes over it...Stir gently cos off the fish and just cook...

After 5 mins, give the pot a little shake and lastly add in the sliced uzuzia leaves and stir and simmer for 2 mins and the Fisherman soup is ready to enjoy with any swallow of your choice.
