Ingredients

  • Meat balls
  • Lean beef mince meat
  • 1brown onion
  • 1 cupbread put through a food processor
  • 1egg
  • 1/4 cupblack olives put through a processor
  • 3 clovesgarlic cut finely
  • 1/4 cuptomato kepschup
  • 1 tbspmixed herbs
  • 1 tbsporegano
  • 2 tbspwortishire sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sauce
  • 1 tbspolive oil
  • 1brown onion diced
  • 2garlic cloves cut finely
  • 1long red chilli seeded and chopped
  • 2 canscrushed tomatoes. (400 gr size)
  • 1 tbspOregano
  • Splashred wine
  • 1/4 cupbeef stock
  • 3 tbspsugar
  • 1/4 cupkepschup
  • 1 tbspbasil..dried or fresh
  • 1 bottletomato pasta sauce
  • Pasta
  • 1 packetspaghetti noodles

Steps

    Meatballs - combine beef mince, processed onion, bread crumbs and olives, egg, oregano, mixed herbs, wortishire sauce, kepschup, salt and pepper and roll into balls.

    Heat oil in a deep frying pan on medium heat. Add meat balls. Cook turning for 5 mins or until brown all over. Transfer on to a plate.

    Add more oil to pan. Add the onion, garlic and chilli. Cook, stirring, for 5 mins or until onion softens.. Add the canned tomatoes and tomato pasta sauce and cook to a medium bubbling state. Add a splash of red wine and 1/4 cup of beef stock/broth.

    Add the meat balls to the sauce and cook until heated through.

    Cook spaghetti, add a little salt and olive oil whilst cooking.

  6. 6

    Once the spaghetti it cooked, drain and then add a drizzle of olive oil on top of it and stir through it.

  7. 7

    Plate up spaghetti. Add meat balls and sauce to your liking and then add grated paramzen or tasty cheese on top.
