Ingredients

30 minutes
6 servings
  1. 1Plantain boiled and peeled
  2. 2 TbspRoasted peanuts
  3. 2Potato boiled and mashed
  4. 4 TbspCottage cheese
  5. 4 TbspBread crumbs
  6. 2Green chillies chopped
  7. 2 tbspFresh Cilantro chopped
  8. 2 tbspGinger finely chopped
  9. 1 tbspLemon juice
  10. to tasteSalt
  11. to tasteChilli powder
  12. Oil for frying
  13. Top Coating Mixture:
  14. 2 TbspRoasted and blended peanuts
  15. 2 TbspBread crumbs

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Take mashed plantain and potatoes in a mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Blend roasted peanuts in a mixer blender.

  3. 3

    Add grated cheese, bread crumbs, green chilli, chopped cilantro, salt and chilli powder, mix all together and form a dough.

  4. 4

    Take lemon size dough and make a dough ball from it.

  5. 5

    Roll these balls in prepared coating mix and keep aside.

  6. 6

    Now heat oil in a pan and deep fry these balls on medium flame and fry till they turn light golden brown in colour.

  7. 7

    Take out the balls on kitchen towel so that it can absorb excessive oil.
