Steps

Blend the tomatoes with Chilli powder and salt.

In a pan add oil, mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves. Let it splutter.

Add Garlic and Green Chilli. Saute well.

Then add tomato puree, Asafoetida and Salt.
- 5
Mix well and cook till the water evaporates.
Serve with idly, Dosa or Chapati.
