Ingredients

  1. 400 gmschicken
  2. 4 tbspgrated coconut
  3. 2 tbspfresh chopped methi leaves
  4. 1onion chopped finely
  5. 1 tspginger paste
  6. 1 tspgarlic paste
  7. 1/4th tsp turmeric
  8. 1/4th tsp red chilli powder
  9. 2roasted dry red chillies
  10. 1/2 tspkitchen king masala
  11. 1 tbspfresh cream
  12. 1/2 tspfennel seeds
  13. 3green cardamom
  14. 1small stick cinnamon
  15. 5-6cloves
  16. 1 tbsproasted peanuts
  17. 2 tbspchopped coriander
  18. 4 tbsprefined oil
  19. 1 tbspghee
  20. 1 tbsplemon juice
  21. 2 tbsptomato puree
  22. 1 tbspcurd
  23. 3/4th cup water
  24. To tastesalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Marinate chicken with little salt and lemon juice for 1 hour.Meanwhile scrape coconut.Make a paste of roasted peanuts,cream,fennel seeds and ginger garlic paste.Chop methi leaves.Heat oil in a wok and fry the chicken lightly.

    Also fry the chopped onion till crispy and set aside.Fry 2 dry red chillies also.

    Add ghee to the remaining oil,sprinkle half crushed whole garam masala and when they splutter,add the ground masala alongwith curd,tomato puree,fresh cream,ginger garlic paste,turmeric,red chilli powder and kitchen king masala.Add scraped coconut and chopped methi leaves and salt to taste and fry.

    Now add the fried chicken and toss.Add little water and boil till chicken is done. Add the fried onion and toss till masala coats chicken.Garnish with chopped coriander,dry red chillies and fresh cream and serve with pulao, jeera rice or any Indian flat bread.
