Rice and lentile khichdi

Put the cooker on the flame and add the oil, when the oil is hot then add the cumin seeds and hing, and when it is lightly slit, put the onion slices

Now fry the onion until it becomes golden then add lentile and rice

Now add salt, chilli powder and turmeric powder and fry for two minutes
- 4
Now add 2 glasses of water and close the lid of pressure cooker and cook till two whistles and when the steam around it all evaporated, then open the lid of the cooker.

Now the khichdi is ready to serve.
