Trick: How to peel a hard boiled egg

I saw this in a film once and have been using it ever since. It makes use of the membrane inside the egg shell, and making micro cracks helps the membrane hold the shell together so it comes off in large pieces. Very quick and it doesn’t damage the egg white.

Steps
- 1
Take hard boiled egg and hit lightly on both pointy ends. Roll the egg on flat surface with you palm, until the shell cracks in micro fractures
- 2
Begin to peel from the ticker end of the egg - there is usually a bit of space between egg white and the shell, making it easy to start the peel
- 3
The shell comes off in large pieces or you can even try to peel it like you would an apple :)
