Ingredients

  • 1 cupoats coarsely powdered quick cooking rolled oats
  • 2 cupFenugreek/ methi finely chopped
  • 1 cuppalak finely chopped
  • 2 tbspsemolina
  • 1/4 cupjowar flour
  • 4 tbsplow fat curds
  • 1/4 tsphaldi powdered
  • 1 tspgreen chilli paste
  • 1 1/2 tspchilli powder
  • 2 tspcoriander cumin powder
  • 1 pinchhing
  • 1 tbspoil
  • 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  • 1/2 tspsesame seeds
  • as neededFor serving - tea and green chutney

Steps

    Collect all ingredients.

    Combine all ingridents for muthia in a bowl and mix well.

    And knead into a soft dough using little water.

    Divide the dough into 3 equal portions and shape each portion into a cylindrical roll.

    Arrange roll on a drive and steam in a steamer on a high flame for 10 minutes.

    Remove and keep aside to cool a slightly for 5 minutes and cut 1/2" slices and keep aside.

    For tempering :- heat oil in a small non stick pan and add the mustard seeds when crackle add sesame seeds and cook on a medium flame for 30 seconds.

    Pour the tempering over the muthia pieces and toss it lightly.

    Serve hot with the tea and green chutney.
