Balti Gosht Balti Gosht
#post18 - This is a Pakistani style mutton curry called Balti Gosht, which is very popular in North India, Pakistan and UK. This yummy dish can be enjoyed with plain biryani, pulao, kulcha, naan or tandoori roti. It is unsure how the name originated. According to some sauces, it is derived from the fact that it was cooked / served in an iron wok resembling a balti (bucket). Few are of the opinion that it has it's origin from a place in Pakistan called Baltistan. Whatever be the reason, this yummy mutton curry is a must try recipe. #goldenapron Bethica Das -
Vickys Homemade Balti Curry Paste, GF DF EF SF NF Vickys Homemade Balti Curry Paste, GF DF EF SF NF
Balti is my favourite curry. It has a rich tomato taste with great zesty flavour coming from the coriander, lemon and sweet spices. The spice mix is delicious and it goes well with any fish, meat, poultry or vegetable selection. Use this paste to fry the meat/poultry etc in to seal the meat before adding the curry sauce for a deeper flavour Vicky@Jacks Free-From Cookbook -

Kadahi Paneer Kadahi Paneer
#cookclickKadahi Paneer is a popular paneer recipe where paneer and bell peppers are cooked in a spicy masala. It is one of the most popular paneer recipes. It’s there on the menu in almost all Indian restaurants. It's called Kadahi paneer as it's cooked in a heavy iron or brass Kadahi/wok. But nowadays you can make it in a pan. The main flavour of my recipe comes from a special ground kadahi masala and tadka. Shuchi Jain -
