Cut the veggies into cubes

Heat the pan and add oil. Add coriander seeds, chanadal, udur dal, fenugreek seeds, and red chills. Turn off the stove and add coconut. Let it cool and make it powder

Heat cooker and add oil, mustard, udur dal and curry leaves..

Add onions and veggies

Veggies are boiled slightly add turmeric and hing

Add mashed dhoor dal and washed raw rice

Mix all together and add tamarind water into the ratio of 1:1. One cup rice: one cup water(tamarind) add coriander seeds masala powder and finally add some chopped coriander leaves

Add salt as required. Close the cooked and give 5whistles

Release the cooker lid and add some more coriander leaves and table spoon of ghee

Serve rice with cucumber raita and appalam
