Ingredients

  1. 2 cupfresh matar (green peas)
  2. 1/2 cupsugar
  3. 3/4 cupmawa
  4. 1 tspghee
  5. 2 tspmix dryfruits, 1tsp cardamom powder

Cooking Instructions

    Take 2cup matar and grind it coarsely,

    Heat some ghee in a wok let melt add the groud peas to it roast till it changes colour and is fragrant,now add sugar,cook halwa untill it is dense in consistency

  3. 3

    Now add mawa to it stir it till mix well and add cardamom powder, dry fruits,matar halwa has the desired consistency,

    Halwa is ready to serve garnish with almonds. Enjoy.....
