Ingredients

6-8 servings
  • Beef: 1-1.5 lbs of beef
  • Onions: 1 onions
  • Garlic: 4 gloves or about 2 tablespoons
  • Olive Oil: tablespoons olive oil
  • Cumin: 1 1/2 tablespoons of cumin
  • Brown Sugar: 1 1/2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • Green Bell Pepper: 1/2 1/2 tablespoons green bell pepper
  • Chilli Powder: 1 1/2 tablespoons of chilli powder
  • Oregano: 2 teaspoons of oregano
  • Thyme: 2 teaspoons of thyme
  • Paprika: 2 teaspoons of paprika
  • Salt: 2 teaspoons of salt
  • Pepper: 1 teaspoons of pepper
  • Cayenne Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • Tomatoes: 1 can of diced tomatoes
  • Tomato Sauce: 1 can of tomato sauce
  • Tomato Paste: 2 1/2 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • Chicken Broth: 2 cups of chicken broth
  • Kidney Beans: 1 can kidney beans or mixed beans
  • Toppings
  • Cheese (of your choice)
  • Cilantro
  • Jalapeños: stems removed and minced
  • Fritos
  • Sour Cream
  • Green Onion

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook meat in medium pan with oil until broken up and cooked through

  2. 2

    Add the onion to the meat and add S&P until soft. Then add garlic bell peppers. Then drain the fat and grease.

  3. 3

    Add in the beans, seasonings, dice tomoatoes, with sauce, and broth,

  4. 4

    Mix and cook for about 20 minutes. Taste and season to liking.
