It's commonly known as podo pitha in Odisha.It's a traditional dish that we prepare for Pooja sometimes and on an occasional day too. This is the first time I have prepared.

First soak urad dal and rice for about 3hours then grind to a fine paste and leave it for 5 to 6 hours minimum. Now add grated & chopped coconut, fried cashews and raisins, jaggery, salt, black pepper & cardamom powder, crushed ginger, homemade fresh chhena and mix together for 1min or 2 Min.

Now add large quantities of oil or ghee in a cooker.you can put a butter paper other wise banana leaf and grease oil in banana leaf.and preheat for 2 Mins and put the batter perfectly and garnish with cashews,raisins and chopped coconut on top of the batter and cover the lead and remove the whistle. The batter should be very thick as like idli batter.

Cook on low flame for at least 30 min then remove and check properly. If it won't cook properly then cover again and cook more 5 or 10min.then once it done remove the lead and let it cool and remove it with the help of a knife.
