Steps

Boil potatoes. Peel and mash them with a fork in a bowl.

Grind green chillies, ginger,clove. Heat oil in a pan,add mustard seeds and crackle them. Add aesaphotida.Then add curry leaves, green chillies,ginger,garlic. Add turmeric and saute till the raw garlic aroma goes away.

Add this in the in the mashed potato. Add finely chopped coriander and salt.

Mix it well and make round small balls and flatten it a bit.

For batter. In another bowl add gram flour,water,asoephotida,salt,baking soda and turmeric. The batter consistency should not be too watery or thick.

Dip the potato balls in the batter and fry. Serve hot with fried green chillies and chutney
