Steps

Take flour, khoya, cardamom powder, ghee and soda in a mixing bowl and mix well.. Do not knead it.. and keep it aside for 20 mins..

Then take a pan and add sugar, water and crushed cardamoms to it and keep it on a medium low flame..

Heat it till it becomes sticky.. and put off the flame when the syrup reaches to the one thread consistency..

Then add 1 teaspoon of kewra essence to it..

Then take a small portion of the dough and make small balls of it... There shouldn't be any crack..

While making the balls keep 1or 2 chopped pieces of almonds in between..

Then heat oil untill it becomes medium hot..

Then gently place the gulab jaamun balls in the oil and fry till they become golden brown..

Keep stirring it, so that they get cooked evenly..

Then take them out of the oil..

Put them in the warm (not hot) syrup for atleast 1 hour..

Garnish it with the dry fruits you like..

And your gulab jaamuns are ready to eat😋..
