Ingredients

1 hour
as required
  1. 3/4 cupbesan/gram flour
  2. 2 tbspbarik rava
  3. 1 pinchElaichi (Cardamom)powder
  4. 1/4 cuppowdered sugar
  5. as neededDry fruits
  6. 1/4 cupghee

Cooking Instructions

1 hour
  1. 1

Heat a frying pan and add half of the ghee first. Then add rava-besan mixture to it and fry them in a low flame for 10 mins. Then add the remaining ghee to it and again fry it for another 10 mins. You will notice that there is a change in the colour of besan and the good aroma starts comming out of it.

  2. 2

After 20 mins the ghee will start leaving the pan. If not, add a tsp of ghee and you will notice that the besan-suji mixture starts liquidifing. Add dry fruits now, mix them for about 5 mins. Now at this point of time, add a little sprinkle of water to it, it will get bubbled up a little & you will see the change in the texture..fry for another 5 mins in a low flame...the consistency would be in liquidifing state only. Now pour this mixture in a big bowl and let it come to room temperature.

  3. 3

Now add the powdered sugar to it and mix them properly and Knead a dough. If you find it too liquidifing, then dry-roast some besan flour, cool it down and then add it to form ladoos. & vice-versa, if it is too dry add some hot ghee to form a proper dough and then keep the dough in a refrigerator for around 10 mins and then form ladoos and then decorate them as required..
