Strawberry Fool Dessert
From the New York Times Food section!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cut the strawberries into quarters and place them in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 min. (You can add sugar if you like it sweet. I sometimes put a teaspoon or so if anything - if your using strawberries then it's already pretty sweet.)
- 2
While the berries sit, whip the heavy cream until it forms peaks (add sugar if you like but highly unnecessary)
- 3
Fold the berries into the cream slowly - bits at a time. Try to leave it streaky so that it's not entirely combined as in you should still see streaks of white and pink etc
- 4
Freeze for an ice cream sorbet or keep it in the fridge!

English Dessert: Blackberry Fool English Dessert: Blackberry Fool
I used some berries that I picked to make a fool that suits my taste. The basic fool is a mixture of whipped cream and puréed fruit. Mascarpone, cream cheese, or custard may be added sometimes. It has many different variations.Step 6: It looks pretty if you stop mixing at a point where it still has a marble pattern instead of being combined all the way.Remove blackberry seeds by straining them to make them smooth. Use plenty of the fruit sauce.Use 2/3 of the sauce or all of the sauce, depending on how sweet and fruity you want your fool to be. The leftovers can be stored in a freezer.Adjust the amount of sugar to your preference, or the kind of fruit you're using. Recipe by KT121 cookpad.japan -

Simple Tofu Desserts Strawberry Yogurt Simple Tofu Desserts Strawberry Yogurt
This is a variation of my "Simple! Tofu No-Bake Cheesecake" recipe. The water in the tofu and strawberries will separate out and settle on the top so drain it before serving. These desserts do not keep for long, so refrigerate them and serve them on the same day. These refreshing yogurt-style desserts are packed with strawberries and have a faint hint of sesame, too. You can't really taste the tofu. Recipe by Miyakojika cookpad.japan
