Ingredients

25 minutes
serves 3 servin
  1. 250 gmsbitter gourd
  2. 2 tsp roasted peanut powder
  3. 1/2 tsp or to tasteJaggery
  4. to tastered chilli powder
  5. to tastesalt
  6. to tastetamarind pulp
  7. to tastegaram masala
  8. to tasteasafoetida
  9. to tasteturmeric powder
  10. as neededoil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Make pieces of bitter gourd, apply salt on it, keep aside for ten minutes, now add hot water to marinated bitter gourd

  2. 2

    Remove water, heat Pan add oil to it add cumin seeds turmeric powder, asafoetida, now add pieces of bitter gourd

  3. 3

    Now add red chilli powder, garam masala, salt, tamarind pulp and Jaggery to it. Cook for couple of minutes then add roasted peanut powder. Mix well. You can skip the Jaggery, but a little amount of it enhances the taste.

    Ready to serve, goes well with chapati,bhakri
