Oil-Free Vichyssoise Oil-Free Vichyssoise
During the hot season, I like refreshing and smooth soups. To make vichyssoise, you usually saute the onions in butter or oil and add heavy cream, but I omitted the oil completely for this version. This makes a huge batch so if you're only preparing for a few, halve the amounts. Adjust the thickness of the soup to taste by adjusting the amount of milk. Recipe by Raby cookpad.japan -
Easy & Chewy Oil-free Steamed Bread Easy & Chewy Oil-free Steamed Bread
I knew how to make oil-free steamed bread, so I made a chewy version. You could use juice or coconut milk instead of milk.To get the marbled effect, when the dough is done, fill all the muffin cups halfway. Mix in a tablespoon of cocoa powder (or instant coffee or matcha) to the remaining batter and pour into the half-filled muffin cups. Drag a toothpick through the batter to swirl the two batters. If it's a bother, you can just make two different types of batter without the marbleized effect. Recipe by nathu cookpad.japan -
Oil-free Macrobiotic Kinako Cookies Oil-free Macrobiotic Kinako Cookies
I saw some round cookies were so cute that I just had to shape these the same way. The problem is that it's slightly time-consuming and a little tiring too. I felt like skipping a couple steps, so that's how I ended up with round ones and square ones. Please reduce the amount of beet sugar if you like it less sweet. You can enjoy both moist and crusty cookies with this one recipe, so try baking it in two different ways! Oil-free Almond Flour Muffins Oil-free Almond Flour Muffins
I made some delicious muffins with vegetable oil and almond flour, and wanted to try making an oil-free version. They turned out fluffy, moist and very tasty. The almond flour gives the muffins a rich aroma and they smell amazing when just out of the oven. They were still tasty the next day when chilled. I eat these at work when I feel like having a snack. They are really satisfying. In Step 2, mind you don't knead it when mixing with the spatula. Adjust the baking time to suit your oven. Recipe by Minimame cookpad.japan -

Oil-free☆Crispy☆Cookies Oil-free☆Crispy☆Cookies
I was trying to come up with a cookie recipe that doesn't require oil. Then I created this recipe by referring to a baby biscuit recipe. I'm still experimenting, but I made these crispy and delicious cookies. When you are rolling out the dough, if you wrap it up with plastic wrap, it'll make the job easier. If you use egg yolk mixed with a little bit of water for the glaze, your cookies will be yellow and shiny; if you use milk, they'll end up with a simple look. Recipe by Akito mama cookpad.japan -

You could also make these with all cake flour or all bread flour and they will still come out tasty. The muffins in the photo were made with all cake flour. It doesn't matter how big the banana is. (This time, I used a 135 g banana.) It also tastes yummy if you add diced banana into the batter. Recipe by Meifan cookpad.japan -
