Ingredients

  • 1 kgChicken
  • Cafreal Masala
  • 4-5 Green chillies
  • 1 1/2 inchGinger
  • 5-6Big cloves garlic
  • 5cloves
  • 1 inchcinnamon stick
  • 3cardamom
  • 10-12Black peppercorns
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • 2 tbspVinegar
  • To tasteSalt
  • 2 tbspoil
  • 2 bunchCoriander
  • Marination
  • 2 tsplemon juice
  • 1 tspturmeric powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • As neededButter

Steps

  1. 1

    Clean the chicken pieces. Make slits on the chicken

  2. 2

    Apply salt, turmeric powder and lemon juice and rest it for 30 mins.

  3. 3

    In a mixer grinder add all the ingredients under masala paste. Don't add water instead use vinegar if more needed

  4. 4

    Apply half the masala paste to the chicken and marinate for minimum 4-6hrs and keep aside half the paste.

  5. 5

    In a heavy thick bottomed pan. Add oil and butter. Add the marinated chicken pieces and on high flame let the chicken fry.

  6. 6

    Turn over and fry nicely on both the sides. Add the other half of the masala paste let it get cooked.

  7. 7

    Add water and let the chicken cook on medium flame.

  8. 8

    Serve the chicken with potato wedges and salad or french fries......
