Carob Cake with Chocolate Sauce

Cooking Instructions

Mix the sugar, eggs, vinegar, and salt well in an electric mixer. Gradually add the oil and finally the vanilla. Mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, carob powder, and cocoa powder together, then combine everything well.

Add the liquid mixture to the dry mixture and blend everything together. Grease a rectangular pan with butter, pour the mixture into the pan, and place it in a cold oven. Turn the oven on to 350°F (180°C) and bake until done.

Prepare the chocolate sauce by taking a saucepan and adding the sugar, carob powder, cocoa powder, and milk. Mix everything and place the pan over heat, stirring continuously until the ingredients are well combined. Remove from heat and add the chocolate pieces, mixing well until the chocolate is completely melted. Remove the cake from the oven.

Place the cake on a serving plate, poke holes in the cake, and pour the sauce over it. Decorate with chocolate pieces and sprinkle a little edible glitter on top.
