Heat a pan and add one table spoon of oil. Once oil gets heated, add Jeera. Then add green chillies, tomatoes, turmeric and salt. Mix it well. Cover it and cook it on low flame for about ten minutes. Then add tamarind and cook for two minutes. See that tomatoes are fully cooked. Switch off the flame. Then add Dhaniya leaves and mix it well.

For seasoning, heat a pan and add the remaining oil. Add rai, udad dal and heeng.

Once tomatoes are cooled, grind it into a coarse paste and add the seasoning.

It can be served with rice, roti, dosa.
