It's a Kolkata speciality. Available in street food stalls which we say "Chop er dokan". In the potato filling coconut pieces are added in mostly non cooked version which enhance the delicacy of the taste. Let's begin.

In mustard oil add red chili flakes, ginger-green chili paste, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, roasted cumin-coriander powder, salt, and mashed boiled potatoes. Cook and combine all then add coconut pieces and chopped coriander leaves. When all mixed very well switch off the flame and cool the filling a little bit. Then make tikki like shapes from filling.

Now coat it in dust flour and then add in the corn flour slurry.

Then cover with biscuit crumbs (if you want you can double coat these)

Then fry in medium heat until browned.

Now it's done. Just take out and serve hot.
