This is for my children who love soboro!!
Usually, they like sweet soboro, but sometimes I make it with miso.
Make sure to tilt the plate to drain the excess oil.

-The flavoring is very strong, so you can eat a little bit with a big serving of rice.
-Mix the soboro into mashed potatoes to make croquettes. Wrap in shredded cabbage to make spring rolls. You can serve this soboro in so many ways. Recipe by *koro mama *

Ingredients

  1. 350 gramsGround pork
  2. Ingredients:
  3. 2 tbspMiso
  4. 3 tbspSake
  5. 3 tbspSoy sauce
  6. 3 tbspSugar

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Mix the ingredients in a bowl.

  2. 2

Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a pan. Add the meat and saute thoroughly, breaking it up into small pieces as you cook.

  3. 3

Add the mixed ingredients from step 1 to the pan. Fry over medium heat until the liquid is absorbed and evaporated.

  4. 4

When the liquid is gone, transfer to the the right hand side of a large plate.

  5. 5

Place a folded towel under the right side of the plate (the meat side). This will tilt the plate to allow the fat to drain.

  6. 6

Wait a while until the excess fat drains down to the empty side of the plate. Wipe it off with paper towels and it's done.

  7. 7

Divide the soboro into small portions and wrap in plastic wrap.

  8. 8

Place the wrapped portions in a ziplock bag for storage. When you want to use the soboro, remove the desired portion from the ziplock and microwave to use.
