A delicious pie that I couldn't make as originally intended because the potatoes are supposed to be baked until golden in the oven, but since my oven is broken, I improvised by frying them. It turned out very tasty.

A delicious pie that I couldn't make as originally intended because the potatoes are supposed to be baked until golden in the oven, but since my oven is broken, I improvised by frying them. It turned out very tasty.
Cooking Instructions

In a pan, heat the oil and sauté the chopped onion for 5 minutes. Add the sliced carrots, stir, and then add the seasoned meat. Sauté for 10 minutes with the tomato sauce, pour in the wine, 3/4 cup beef broth (about 200 ml), and thyme. Let it simmer on low heat for 30 minutes, then add the Worcestershire sauce and mix.

Place in a dish and cover with the washed and sliced potatoes, which have been fried until they start to brown. Set aside to drain on paper towels, then place them over the meat. Sprinkle with parsley and black pepper.

Serve immediately.

I used bags of frozen mixed vegetables and peas that a guest had left in my freezer. And I mashed together potatoes and a yam that I had to use before it went bad.
