Sugar syrup:- Add water to sugar and cook the sugar till the throat. Add cardamom powder and mix, cook on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes, and make a light sticky syrup.

Malpua:-- First add semolina to the flour, then add fennel powder and cardamom powder and mix, add sugar and mix then little by little add warm milk and make a smooth thick batter.

Add cream to it and mix, cover, and keep for 15 minutes. After this, if the batter looks thick, then add a little milk and mix.

Heat oil in a frying pan, add 1 teaspoon of batter, slowly the malpua will start coming up. Flip when you come up.

Fry till golden brown on both sides. Put the hot Malpua in the syrup and keep it for 2 minutes. Serve hot.
