Turkey curry

I think we will probably tweak it more but it’s nice to have a curry recipe on hand for when there is extra turkey. Found this online but we decided to deviate a little from the original recipe.

Set out ingredients. Then melt the butter in a large skillet and add the curry powder, stirring for 2 minutes.

Add the chopped onion and stir frequently, cooking until soft and translucent.

Add the flour, turmeric, pepper and ginger. Stir vigorously to avoid large clumps.

Stir in the diced turkey to coat all the pieces well.

Turkey Meatballs in Thai Red Coconut Curry Turkey Meatballs in Thai Red Coconut Curry
Another country that my daughter and I love to visit for its food is Thailand 🇹🇭 If you have ever eaten Thai food you know it’s a rewarding experience. Thai food uses numerous kinds of herbs just like Indonesian food. Red Curry is one of our favorite dishes. You can use chicken, duck, pork, beef, or just tofu for this amazingly yummy coconut soup. This time I made some turkey meatballs with a touch of lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves to mix with the soup. Delicious! 😋#heirloomIf you like my recipes, please follow my Instagram @jenscookingdiary @jenscookdineandtravel jenscookingdiary -

Chicken Curry Chicken Curry
This is our family's staple curry dish. It's so delicious that even a restaurant specializing in curry can't beat.Once you taste it, you won't be satisfied with normal curry anymore.I measure water using the can of the canned tomatoes.1 can holds about 400 ml.Microwaving onions in ahead of time reduces stir-frying time. Chicken Curry Chicken Curry
People make all sorts of curries. Some add coconut milk, some add cream & others vary the spices. When the chicken is half cooked, you can taste the gravy & add salt or spices according to your wish. If you want a less spicy curry reduce the quantity of the powders used. You can even add coconut milk. Curries never taste the same. Let's try this one for a change. Pen Friend -

Vegetarian Curry Vegetarian Curry
I adapted a curry recipe from "vege dining", a website I love.It is free of animal derived ingredients and doesn't use a lot of oil, so it's ideal to feed to small children as well.Add richness using sesame paste. You could probably use peanut butter instead. Adjust the amount of spices to taste. Reduce the curry powder for small children. Try to use preservative and MSG-free ketchup and sauce as much as possible. If you are allergic to wheat, dilute rice flour, kudzu starch, or katakuriko with water and add at the end to thicken the sauce. Recipe by Naokki- cookpad.japan -
