Slice the onions, wash and peel the potatoes, cube them, cut the liver into 1” cubes. Smear the cubed potatoes with turmeric powder and salt. Smear the Mete with salt and set aside

In a pan heat 2 Tbsp mustard oil and add the potatoes and fry, set aside

In the same pan add rest of the mustard oil and add bay leaf, cloves, cardamoms, cinnamon stick and add sliced onions. Soften them

Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder and cook on low flame till oil surfaces. Add tomato purée and cook for 7-8 mins

Add the mete or liver, cubed fried potatoes and salt and half cup warm water, stir and cover to cook for 15-20 mins

When oil surfaces drizzle some garam masala powder and set aside.

Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy with Roti or Rice
