Ingredients

  1. 1/4 Cupcoconut cream
  2. 4 Tbsraw fresh spanish peanuts or hazelnuts
  3. 1shallot
  4. 1 clovegarlic
  5. 1makrut leaf, also called lemon leaf, also called peroek leaf
  6. 1kemiri nut, also called candle nut
  7. 1 Tbsfermented red pepper sauce, such as sambal oelek
  8. 1 Tbsthick sweet soy sauce
  9. 1 Tbsrice vinegar
  10. 1 cupwater
  11. Equipment: food processor, or mortar and pestle

  1. 1

    Pulverize dry ingredients, scoop into sauce pan. Add water, coconut cream, pepper sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar. Bring to boil, simmer till thick.

I teach people at the farmers market to grow small scale fruits and vegetables. My grandparents and parents taught me growing, cooking and preserving home grown fruits and vegetables, eggs, meats and fish. I got certified by the University of California Master Gardener Program in 2005. I try to bring out the original flavor of ingredients, then add layers of spices, herbs and flavorings that enhance, not distort the taste. These are the global, organic and vegan family recipes we use.
