Cooking Instructions
- 1
Lightly warm the udon noodles in the microwave. (1 minute at 600W) If using frozen udon, thaw it first.
- 2
Cut the vegetables into bite-sized pieces. For kids, we like to cut them into thick matchsticks.
- 3
Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- 4
Heat a frying pan and cook the pork belly. Once the color changes, add the vegetables that take longer to cook (except cabbage) and stir-fry over high heat.
- 5
Add the cabbage last, sprinkle with a little salt and pepper, and stir-fry over high heat. Once everything is mixed, move to step 6.
- 6
Add the udon noodles from step 1, dashi powder (1/2 teaspoon), and water (2 tablespoons). Loosen the noodles and cook off the moisture over high heat.
- 7
Reduce the heat to low, add the seasonings marked ◆ (mirin, mayonnaise, soy sauce), and mix well. Serve on a plate and sprinkle with white sesame seeds and green onions if you like.
- 8
It's also delicious with tempura flakes added!
- 9
Mochimo-chan made this with yakisoba noodles. Looks delicious!

I bought some fresh wasabi greens directly from the producer.I wanted to come up with a recipe that was easy and could be enjoyed as a hot stir fry or a chilled vegetable side dish.Wasabi greens are part of the mustard green family. It's packed with beta-carotenes and vitamin C.If you are bothered by the bitterness and spiciness of the wasabi greens, blanch quickly before stir frying. If you want a richer flavor, use butter instead of vegetable oil.Stir fry as quickly as possible over high heat after adding the wasabi greens to retain the crispy texture. Delicious Tofu with Umeboshi Mayo Sauce Delicious Tofu with Umeboshi Mayo Sauce
Drain excess water from the tofu first, cut into small pieces, then mix with the dressing. It prevents the dish from being watery. It also helps to improve the dish's appearance, and makes the dish absorb the flavor better.Use your preferred amount of umeboshi. You can just top the mixed seasoning on the chilled tofu, instead of mixing it all together. You can make many variations by using nori-seaweed tsukudani (simmered in soy sauce), kimchi, spicy salted cod roe, takana pickles, shibazuke (pickled vegetables in salt and shiso leaves), nametake mushrooms, tuna and soy sauce, etc... as a dressing. It's also delicious to sprinkle garnishes, such as sesame seeds. Recipe by Hironozomiyuuma cookpad.japan -

Since I use a low-calorie, health-conscious mayonnaise, it doesn't melt when heated like regular mayonnaise, so I add it last. With such tasty flavoring, you'll be able to eat a lot of konnyaku. For those who don't like spice, omit the red chili pepper. The bold flavor makes it a good dish for a snack or as a bento item. I love yakitori.I like to eat it sometimes with different sauces other than the usual soy-sauce based one.If you brush either ume-mayo or wasabi-mayo sauce on the chicken at the beginning it will get burned, so brush it on halfway through cooking or only at the very end. Doubled Dashi Stock Punch Makes it Tasty: Tuna, Mayonnaise, and Soy Sauce Pasta Doubled Dashi Stock Punch Makes it Tasty: Tuna, Mayonnaise, and Soy Sauce Pasta
I love tuna and mayonnaise, and thought it might be tasty with pasta too.Mix the pasta rapidly as soon as you add to the frying pan, and turn off the heat immediately. If you let it cook too long, the pasta will get dry, harden, and may stick to the pan. If it does stick, drizzle a little more olive oil and toss. For 1 serving. Recipe by Nanaiku cookpad.japan -

Sweet Onion, Bonito Flake, Tomato, Soy Sauce and Mayonnaise Salad Sweet Onion, Bonito Flake, Tomato, Soy Sauce and Mayonnaise Salad
Both my husband and I get heartburn if we eat raw onions so I microwaved the onions and made them into a salad.Microwave the onion to your desired degree of doneness. If you don't get heartburn from raw onions, try this without cooking the onion. Adjust the amount of mayonnaise and soy sauce to your taste. I recommend using a ton of bonito flakes on this!
