Freshly Baked Cheesy Garlic Onion Pull-Apart Bread

Heat butter and milk until warm. (Finger Test)

In a big bowl add the milk, butter, salt and yeast.

Start adding flour slowly and knead until the dough pulls away from the bowl.

Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl and allow to rise until doubled its size an hour or so (Preheat oven shut off and allow the bowl to sit close by). This weather makes the dough rise a little slower.

Punch down dough and make a smooth ball. Place the dough in your baking dish (Use parchment paper or flour the bottom lightly). Let it sit for a further 30-40 minutes covered until it rises.

Preheat oven to 350F/180C.

Brush egg wash for a glossy look (optional)

Bake for 20-25 minutes until done and golden brown. (set aside to cool)

Garlic Nutter Filling

Melted butter.

2-3 cloves of chopped garlic.

Oregano (Use spices you like in garlic bread)

Salt and pepper.

Mix until well combined.

Sliced mozzarella or any cheese you enjoy.

Chopped green onions (garnish and is optional)

1. Cut the loaf in slits but not all the way through (the picture will help you) 2. Using a spoon start pouring the garlic butter mixture in the cracks of the bread and save some extra to brush on top after it’s done. 3. Add slices of mozzarella in the cracks or even spread some shredded cheese on top for extra goodness. 4. Bake until the cheese bread starts to become golden brown * Non veg lovers you can add bacon bits or even pepperoni*
