Ingredients

Makes enough for 2 large pieces
  1. 2large chicken thighs
  2. 2 tablespoons☆light soy sauce
  3. 2 teaspoons☆garlic (grated)
  4. 2 teaspoons☆ginger (grated)
  5. 1 teaspoon☆chicken bouillon granules
  6. 1 teaspoon☆sesame oil
  7. 5shakes ☆MSG
  8. 5or more shakes ☆black pepper
  9. 2 tablespoonsall-purpose flour
  10. as neededPotato starch,
  11. as neededOil for frying,

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    [Preparation]
    Trim excess skin and fat from the chicken and cut into slightly larger bite-sized pieces.
    * Be careful not to remove too much, as it adds flavor.

    Gather all the seasonings (marked with ☆) in advance to ensure a smooth process.

  3. 3

    Sprinkle the seasonings (marked with ☆) over the chicken on a cutting board and rub them in.

  4. 4

    After step ③, place the chicken in a bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  5. 5

    Take the chicken out of the refrigerator and add flour to the bowl, kneading it in.
    * This helps reduce oil splatter.

    Coat each piece with potato starch.

    [Frying]
    Heat oil in a pot and fry the chicken from step ⑤ until golden and crispy.

    [Marinated Freezing]
    After completing step ③, freeze each piece individually. Thaw in the refrigerator the day before eating and continue from step ⑤.
