Millets are a superfood. One of the most prominent and widely eaten among them is Sorghum or Jowar which is also known as Jolar/ Jolada / Jondhala and Jwari . This is rich in iron, calcium, magnesium, fiber, phosphorus, folate and protein. They are nutritious and need to be eaten regularly. High in energy and satiation value, jowar can be cooked in many ways like roti, bhakri, upma, khichdi, paratha, dosa, idli, dhokla, vada, halwa and many more ways. I have made upma which is very healthy. Give it a try.
