  • 1 bunchspinach, washed and chopped
  • 3onions, chopped
  • 1tomato, chopped
  • Salt, allspice, and black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Pinchsumac

    Prepare the dough and let it rise.

    Mix all the filling ingredients together well.

  3. 3

    Roll out the dough and cut into circles. Fill each circle with the spinach mixture and seal tightly.

    Arrange the fatayer on a greased or nonstick baking sheet and bake until golden brown.
