Take out seeds of pigeon peas from pods.Add little oil in karahi add peas and saute for two minutes.

In other pan add 1 tspoon oil.Add chopped onion, coconut, coriander seeds, garlic cloves and ginger.Cook till golden brown.

Grind masala in mixer.Keep aside.Now coarsely grind pigeon peas with coriander leaves.

In a pan heat oil add onion paste, chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric,salt and saute till masala separates oil.

Add grounded pigeon peas paste and required water.Cover and cook for five minutes.

Our green Pigeon peas curry is ready to serve with rice or chapati.
